I’ve been using vim for a few years, but I’ve never committed to using it as my main IDE (usually only to edit a file here and there).

However, I upgraded Goland today and all my custom keymappings/settings got destroyed so I’m back to square one and thinking of setting up vim to replace it.

I’m using the usual tools when developing with go (vim-go, NerdTree etc) but I’m wondering if anybody would be willing to share them .vimrc file with me. I’m mainly looking for the following:

  • Auto complete on .

  • File explorer (already set-up with NerdTree)

  • Global project search, similar to a cmd+shift+F experience in other IDEs

But any other useful customisations are a bonus.

Thanks in advance!
